Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to comply with Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2005 (Public Law 108-477), which requires educational institutions receiving federal funding to hold an educational program pertaining to the United States Constitution on September 17 of each year.
Policy
In compliance with the act, Lynn University holds an educational program pertaining to Constitution Day on the closest business day to September 17 of each year.

Announcement of events scheduled to celebrate Constitution Day is communicated to the campus community via the university’s website.
