The second floor of the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Library was transformed into a runway for "The Faces of Fashion Showcase."

The College of Business and Management, in cooperation with the College of Communication and Design and Academic Affairs, partnered with Lynn University alumni and their employers to help host the event.

"The fashion show was a fabulous hands-on learning experience for the students in the Fashion Show Production class," said Lisa Benedict, coordinator of the fashion and retail program.

"From transforming the second floor of the library to creating a lounge-type atmosphere on the second-floor landing, not to mention working with nine different vendors, all with an alumni connection to the Fashion and Retail program,” said Benedict.

The invite-only event featured over 50 models and promoted brands such as Brisea Swim, Lilly Pulitzer, Seagate Boutique, Tanya Taylor, Boston Proper, Raise the Bar Menswear, Venus and Boca Raton Bridal. The show offered pop-up shops for attendees, food, beverages and a signature cocktail for the evening. The "Faces of Fashion Showcase" was a unique opportunity for models, designers and the audience, and hosted to highlight student-designed fashions and promote creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

"This experience offered students a chance to coordinate, direct [and] style fashionable ensembles," said Benedict.

The showcase also featured wedding gowns and a live DJ who set the tone.
