Lynn University today welcomed hospitality veteran Kristell Roullé to the university Cabinet as vice president for campus operations.

Roullé will lead facilities, maintenance and dining services. Reporting to the President’s Office, she’ll collaborate with Lynn’s senior leadership team on the university’s overall strategic direction and on-campus experience.

“Lynn is an incredible and vibrant campus community with similar components of a lifestyle property, with on-site living, dining, events and a community that is invested in its success,” said Lynn President Kevin M. Ross. “Kristell’s deep understanding of hospitality management will bring a new perspective to how we manage and think about the overall campus experience for our students, employees and visitors.”

Roullé comes to Lynn after more than 20 years leading hotel operations in Florida, New York and Paris. As vice president of hotel operations for Performance Hospitality Management, she most recently led COVID-19 recovery efforts for a portfolio of five Florida hotels. Her focus was driving guest experience, employee engagement and profitability, as well as redefining the corporate culture and setting goals and processes for supportive functions. She also oversaw the corporate strategy for human resources, commercial services and accounting.

A native of France, Roullé began her career at Accor Hotels in Paris. But, after a 24-hour stay in New York City, she had her heart set on moving to the U.S. She secured a work visa and relocated to the Big Apple taking a position as a butler for The St. Regis New York. She quickly moved up the ranks and eventually was part of the leadership team who successfully directed the hotel’s $100 million renovation in 2013.

Since then, she has held management positions at the W South Beach and Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. Under her leadership, Carillon Miami received some of the most prestigious awards in the hospitality and wellness industries.

“Over the years, I have learned that my love for hotels was a combination of many things that I hold dear to my heart: caring service, memorable food, beautiful spaces and worldly travels,” said Roullé. “I see much of that in Lynn, and I’m honored to bring my experience to support a mission of innovation, personalization and global perspective.”

Roullé is fluent in four languages and enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters.
