James appointed FATE communications coordinator

Morayma James, assistant director of International Student Services, has been appointed communications coordinator for two years (2018-2020) for the Florida Association of International Educators (FAIE) Board.

In this role, she will serve as a resource for international educators in Florida by raising awareness of opportunities for professional development, service, participation, ethical practice and funding available through NAFSA and FAIE; handle and moderate all operational and logistical procedures related to FAIE electronic communication; and work closely with the FAIE State Chair in managing information content that meets FAIE’s ethical and professional standards of service and practice.

The Florida Association of International Educator’s (FAIE) promotes international educational exchange in the State of Florida, and provides a platform for communication and networking to foster greater understanding and enhancement of the field of international education. International education includes Admissions & Recruitment, International Student Advising, Education Abroad, English Language Programs (ELP) and International K-12.
