Alumni, Josh deVries smiles for a photo.

A trip Josh deVries '13, took to Jamaica while he was at Lynn University helped set his career trajectory. There, he learned about organizations like The People’s Music School in Chicago, Illinois, which gives back through the art of music.

Today, deVries serves as program manager of The People’s Music School, where he helps students use music as a vehicle to find their voice and career path. More than 600 students attend the school—the only completely tuition-free music school serving children in the Chicago metropolitan area.
