Abo Shanad completes Strategic Data Project program at Harvard

Walid Abo Shanad, instructor and academic coordinator for Academic Affairs, completed the Strategic Data Project Institute for Leadership in Analytics at Harvard University. The program is offered jointly by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. Sessions of the week-long program covered topics like Root Cause Analysis and Logic Trees, The Power of Effective Data, Education Evaluation Methods, and Evaluation in Action.

The institute provides an opportunity for data leaders to reflect on their organization's data use, formulate future plans, and gain practical insights into important topics in education research. It provides an immersive, hands-on learning environment and meaningful opportunities to connect with a peer group of data-driven colleagues.
