SCI 260Human Anatomy and Physiology and Lab

This course is designed to provide sufficient knowledge of basic human anatomy and physiology in order to serve as a working basis for studies in the allied health professions and in related fields and/or as general knowledge and appreciation of the human body as an integrated whole. The course describes the cellular and histology structure and function of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, sense and endocrine systems. It also encompasses a survey of major human diseases, development, heredity and aging. This course meets three lecture hours and two lab hours per week.
