ISM 301Information Systems Fundamentals
As part of the Information Systems major, this course introduces students to the fundamentals of computer systems and the role information processing plays in today’s business environment. An overview of information systems, systems development theory, operating systems, programming, database management, networking, and the Internet are presented. Additionally, students learn the process of transforming data into information and using that information to gain knowledge to make informed decisions.
