IRPS 330Politics of Development

This course examines divergent explanations for development and underdevelopment. Emphasized are the concepts and theories that highlights the political process and political actors involved in the politics of development. Attention is given to the role of international political and economic organizations in the development process. Where appropriate, country studies are examined to illustrate theoretical dimensions.
