EDU 214Art, Music and Movement

This course will provide a foundation in the basic elements of art and music, relation to culture as well as to develop instructional skills, techniques and strategies for incorporating art, music and movement in the elementary school classroom and curriculum. Teacher candidates will create a comprehensive portfolio of arts integration and will participate in the types of activities they will use in their own classroom. Five hours of field observation are required.
