Snyder Sanctuary

A venue for music, contemplation and celebration

The Snyder Sanctuary is an inspiring place where people of all faiths and belief systems can come together for contemplative thought, spiritual exploration, meditation, music and celebration.

“There is a feeling of calm and peacefulness that comes over you when you enter The Snyder Sanctuary.”

The space includes:

  • A 1,700-square-foot sanctuary
  • A 2,000-square-foot wing with a lobby, lounge, preparatory room and state-of-the-art classroom
  • A labyrinth at the entrance that adopts ancient pattern found in cultures around the world and is used to quiet the mind, find balance and encourage meditation and insight

Lynn holds classes and a chamber music/poetry series in the space. The Snyder Sanctuary was made possible by a generous donation from Jamie S. and Stephen F. Snyder, vice chairman of Lynn’s board of trustees.

The Snyder Sanctuary has brought our Lynn community together in a beautifully designed spiritual space where we not only celebrate our diverse religious traditions, but also discover the core of our common spirituality.
