WhyLynn
Lynn University has a warm and welcoming environment. The classroom sizes are small and engaging, allowing me to attend to each student, build rapport, and work at a pace that is beneficial to the learning environment. The faculty and staff are very supportive and open-minded to integrating new approaches to improve the campus and classroom experience. Coming back to the institution that provided me with many opportunities only motivates me to provide the same experience for my students.

Teaching philosophy
I believe that approaching the learning environment as an organic place where change is encouraged is important in fostering healthy dialogue and relationships. I align myself with the title of advocate because education should not only inform but also motivate the student to act. The underlying question of “how can what I learn be applied to my own life and the life of someone else?” or “how is what I have learned beneficial or harmful to society?” are ones that will help guide the approach in the classroom.
A collaborative school environment, to me, is one of the best ways to encourage learning and can include an inquiry-based teaching style that encourages students to engage in conversation and learning.
