Why Lynn?

Professional Profile:

Liz McKey manages Lynn University’s editorial services and oversees all writing, editing, proofreading and editorial style in marketing materials. McKey writes for and edits Lynn magazine and other strategic university publications. 

McKey began her career in Atlanta, as a writer/editor for a municipal association and a trade magazine. After marrying and moving to Miami, she worked for the University of Miami for 15 years as a writer, editor and editorial director. She also worked for several years as editorial director at a Miami-based pet magazine publishing company. McKey joined Lynn University in June 2004.

Interests:

Reading, writing, Apple technology, music (especially Americana), cars, jewelry-making and Shetland sheepdogs

Education:

McKey is from Georgia, but has lived most of her life in South Florida. She graduated with honors from Oxford College of Emory University with an Associate of Arts and from University of Georgia, Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
