Dr. Lester Reid joined Lynn University with the purpose of contributing value to the lives of students and the university. He is a professional and scholar in the field of accounting, finance, taxation, business management, adult education and higher education for over two decades. He has held executive leadership positions at corporations and higher education institutions. He is also a former US Department of Treasury Revenue agent and has taught at colleges and universities nationwide and internationally.
Dr. Reid is a doctoral chairperson and subject matter expert in the field of doctoral studies. He has developed and designed graduate and undergraduate courses for colleges and universities for the purpose of increasing students’ awareness, learning and future application in the various fields of study.
Dr. Reid wrote two books that are transforming and motivating lives nationwide and internationally entitle: “Self-promotion: A Success Winning Strategy” and “The Road to Personal Development and Business Venture: A Solution Guide for Driven and Ambitious People.”

Dr. Reid's teaching philosophy is to encourage student integration with knowledge and information for the purpose of applying what was learned in the world of future opportunities. Dr. Reid encourages students to become valuable in the field of study before venturing into their desired career and by teaching them to finish what they began, no matter what challenges they may face during their academic journey.
