Juan Davila leads all multimedia projects in Lynn University’s Office of Marketing and Communication. He oversees concept development, design approach, content creation, pre- and post-production and distribution of each deliverable. Before joining Lynn’s Marketing team in December 2017, Juan directed and produced television ads and digital content for brands like Johnnie Walker, Captain Morgan, Smirnoff, Bulleit Bourbon, Perdue, Avocados From Mexico, Unilever, The Food Network, Norwegian Cruise Lines, The Hartford Insurance, eBay, Choice One Insurance, E! Entertainment Network, Bleacher Report and others.
Juan worked for five years as a professional recording artist for Sony Music, signed to Columbia Records, in Latin America. Looking for a new career direction, he went back to school to study film and art history with an emphasis on photography. After graduating with honors (Cum Laude) he obtained a master’s degree in digital marketing.
He is the youngest sibling in a family of advertising professionals. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for his family’s advertising agency, which has over 40+ employees and nearly 50 years of experience in Colombia, where he was born.
Collecting classic Hollywood and foreign films, as well as jazz, blues and early rock n’ roll vinyl records and traveling with his camera in hand.
