Jennifer Torres's aviation career began after moving to South Florida with an aviation instrument repair station at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. The move led her to working for the airport neighbors American Flyers and other flight schools, including FlightSafety International and Professional Flight Training. While working with American Flyers, she obtained her certified flight instructor and instrument instructor certificates, and her commercial multi-engine instrument add-on with Professional Flight Training.

Teaching philosophy

Torres teaches subjects pertinent to a student’s primary/industry through an interactive learning environment. The ever-changing classroom environment and the interaction of students drive her goal of emphasizing their shared passion of the aviation industry. She believes that a students’ diverse background enriches the classroom and online experience throughout aviation courses. Her goal is to further students’ passion for aviation by developing their aviation skills, industry terminology, concept and history, to ultimately start their journey as an aviation professional.
