Professional profile

Boniforti advises Lynn University’s leadership team on technology strategy and infrastructure planning. He also manages network and information services for the campus and is responsible for designing and implementing the university’s award-winning iPad learning program.  

Boniforti led extensive technology preparations for the 2012 U.S. Presidential Debate at Lynn, which has enabled the school to leapfrog other universities and implement innovative new approaches to campus design and mobile learning. He was named South Florida’s Top CIO by the South Florida Business Journal, recognized with a 2014 CIO 100 award and featured as a technology expert in Campus Technology magazine, EdTech Magazine, Chronicle of Higher Education and Inside Higher Education. Boniforti has been a guest speaker at educational technology presentations at national conferences such as eMerge Americas, EDUCAUSE, ACUTA, UB Tech and others.
