Graduate Assistant Program

Candidates must be accepted to the graduate or doctoral programs before being eligible for this position. Graduate assistants may work 20 hours per week each term they’re enrolled. The typical course load is two courses (6 credits) every term. All graduate assistants are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in order to participate.

Graduate assistants are paid at a rate of $11 per hour and are eligible to receive a scholarship equal to or greater than 70 percent of the cost of graduate tuition. Exact scholarship amount varies based on degree program and is determined by Student Financial Services.
