The financial aid office at Lynn University reviews the institution's preferred private lender list annually. The university is required to exercise a duty of care and duty of loyalty to compile the preferred lender list, without prejudice and for the sole benefit of the students and their families. We will not deny or otherwise impede the borrower's choice of a lender for borrowers who choose a lender that is not included on the preferred lender list. We are committed to removing financial barriers for those who wish to pursue postsecondary education, but we also want to ensure that the student has explored all other potential sources of aid and caution the student to borrow the minimum amount needed. Students may qualify for federal student loans or other federal aid programs. The terms and conditions of a federal student loan may be more favorable than the provisions of private educational loans.

Private lenders for students.

Students may refer to the financial aid handbook for maximum amount of Federal Student Aid, grant and loan aid availability.

The university will provide the information required to complete the Private Loan Self-Certification Form upon the requested application. The information required can include: applicant’s cost of attendance, estimated financial assistance, and the difference between the cost of attendance and estimated financial assistance.

The university, upon the request of the applicant, will discuss with the applicant the availability of federal, state and institutional student financial aid.

The university prohibits any agent or employee of a lender from staffing the financial aid office at any time. Remuneration for recommending any lender or for participation on any financial aid advisory board is also prohibited.

Loan amount varies.

Compare Private Loans on Credible

Lynn University has partnered with a private loan comparison tool. Credible’s private loan comparison tool empowers you to take control of the process and make an informed decision in selecting the best private loan for your individual situation. Credible is a free online loan selection tool that allows you to compare personalized loans from multiple lenders. You can analyze prequalified rates, terms, and eligibility rules side-by-side in just a matter of minutes. You can filter your search to sort on key factors most important to you. With your approval, Credible will pull a soft credit inquiry, which will not affect your credit score but will enable you to compare interest rates you qualify for at multiple lenders. Credible assures users that its encryption technology is safe and secure. Credible is not a lender or bank. You are not required to borrow from any of the lenders listed in the Credible marketplace. Only you and your family can decide which loan program is best for you. You may choose to borrow from any lender without penalty.

Please note that the tool does not include all lenders, only those who have an agreement with Credible. Lynn University does not endorse any of the lenders.
