Go beyond the classroom

At Lynn University, we empower students to make a difference through hands-on experiences in civic engagement and community service.

In your first year, you'll experience our four-week immersive Citizenship Project program during Spring Session A, then take language and culture courses in year two and finish with career preparation in year three or four.

Discover more about our citizenship, culture and career experiences.

  1. Citizenship Project: Enhance the community and make an impact on issues like homelessness, environmental sustainability and urban renewal.
  2. Language and culture: Learn the way of life, cuisine and language of other countries through interactive exploration.
  3. Career preparation: Build your resume, learn new interviewing skills, land an internship and prepare for your future career.

Citizenship Project

Your first introduction to Citizenship Project is during Lynn 101, a required class for first-year students. You and your classmates can choose your impact project for the spring semester.

During Spring Session A, seek solutions for a civic issue, problem or topic. Plus, help with our annual Comfort Cases project and package donated goods for children in foster care.
