BUS 354 Training & Development
A good manager knows that effective communication among all organizational employees is key to a fruitful business. Training and development of employees from the first day of their employment is a useful product of effective communication. Properly training employees is essential to an effective organizational strategy. This course teaches students how to successfully train employees and maximize their talents for the good of the organization.
BUS 402 Contemporary Issues in Human Resource Management
This course provides a study and analysis of human resource management on contemporary cutting-edge issues. It integrates knowledge gained through previous coursework and professional experience, building on the conceptual foundation through integrative analysis, practical application and critical thinking. The impact of shifting demographics, the information age, and emerging issues in human resource management are considered. This course prepares the student for aPHR Certification. Overall, this course allows students to develop their knowledge and competence necessary for a position as an HR professional.
