The student must be a graduate of a Florida high school, have obtained a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 in the 15 college preparatory courses as identified by the Florida Board of Regents Rule, have an SAT of 1290 or an ACT of 29 or higher and complete 100 hours of community service. National Merit Scholars or graduates of the International Baccalaureate programs are automatically eligible. The award amount is currently $211 per credit.
