Performance: Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Harp & PercussionBachelor of Music

Bachelor of Music students perform string instruments in concert.

Performance-based training

Because of the small size and unique nature of the conservatory, you'll receive a highly personalized and individualized education. Through private instruction, ensemble coaching and music-related classes, our faculty offer you comprehensive professional performance training.

As a part of our unique chamber music program, you will be thoughtfully assigned to a group each semester you are at Lynn. Each group will have a structured rehearsal schedule, formal weekly coachings and a required performance.

Under the musical direction of maestro Guillermo Figueroa, the Lynn Philharmonia attains a professional level of performance, enjoying tremendous public support for its symphonic programs. We distinguish ourselves through our orchestral training program as we guarantee consistent performance opportunities for every instrumentalist.

Additional opportunities include weekly studio classes and performance forums, mock orchestral auditions every semester, the New Music Festival and multiple master class opportunities.

All students accepted into the Conservatory of Music attend Lynn tuition-free.

The beautiful campus, environment, the inspiring faculty and everything the conservatory offers, made Lynn my dream place to study at! If I'm not practicing, I'm probably spending time with my golden retriever puppy, walking her and taking her swimming! I also love spending time with my friends, shopping and being active! I want to pursue my master's degree in a big city, and audition for different orchestras all around the world!

I chose Lynn because it's one of the few Universities that give the opportunity to learn one-on-one with the professors. I love biking around Boca, swimming in the pool, and hangout with my friends. After I graduate, I hope to get my master's in music and freelance as much as I can and make a lot of connections.

Music has been a huge part of my life since I was little, so finding a good conservatory was essential for me. The conservatory and faculty here at Lynn are amazing and are really helping me prepare for a career in music! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy swimming, drawing, and reading! After Lynn, I hope to pursue my master's degree and work towards getting a job in an orchestra!

I decided to come to Lynn's Conservatory of Music because it provides students great performance opportunities and practical career preparation, having the opportunity to play with the Lynn Philharmonia, master classes, recitals, among other things will help me to achieve my goal of becoming a professional French horn player. Outside of class I like to play the French horn. After graduation, I would like to land a good job in a well-known orchestra!
