  1. On-campus: Buildings or property the university owns and controls and uses to support its educational goals (classroom, libraries, laboratories, etc.).  Also, property that the university owns that someone else controls on campus or within the geographical area, such as fast food restaurants and stores that students frequently use. The statistics in the “On Campus – Total” column is the total of crimes that occurred on campus, which include statistics from the “Residence hall” column.
  2. Non-campus: Buildings or property owned or controlled by an officially recognized student organization and buildings or property owned or any building not within the same reasonable contiguous geographical area of the main institution that the institution owns and operates in support of its educational goals that is frequently used by students (e.g. fraternities and sororities).
  3. Public property: All public property, including thoroughfares, streets, sidewalks and parking facilities, that is within campus or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus.
  4. Hate crime: 2012: 1 on campus – vandalism to property by racial bias; 1 on campus – vandalism to property by religious bias; 1 on campus – simple assault by racial bias; 1 on campus – vandalism to property by sexual orientation bias.
