This position will support the Director of Marketing and Communication to develop and deploy annual communication programs. He/she will be responsible for developing action plans, implementing tactics, managing projects and measuring results.The Integrated Marketing Manager will work with the broader Marketing and Communication team to
develop and execute program plans. He/she will facilitate continual improvements to department and university-wide workflow processes.

Essential duties and responsibilities


  • Manage an ongoing comprehensive integrated marketing communications plan that includes an appropriate promotional mix, including both traditional and interactive marketing tools (e.g., PR, advertising, web, and social media)
  • Provide marketing support for student recruitment, community outreach and other activities
  • Provide project management support for University-wide branding processes and deliverables
  • Oversee development of integrated marketing materials
  • Project manage print, digital, social, advertising and event marketing deliverables, including communicating with clients, sticking to timelines and budgets, managing production schedules, and providing project recaps and metrics
  • Serve as day-to-day point person with internal creative teams and university departments to facilitate creative development
  • Manage the creative process, such as creating project briefs, obtaining all necessary internal approvals and vetting all ideas and new promotional concepts with internal and external constituents
  • Assist the marketing team in the development of new concepts and marketing campaigns



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field required
  • 2-4 years of related work experience in marketing communications; services marketing and/or educational marketing a plus
  • Must have a strong and proven skill set for managing projects in complex organizations     
  • Significant cross-functional project management experience is required
  • Detail-oriented professional with understanding of fiscal responsibility, time management and reporting
  • Proven ability to execute integrated marketing communications plans, develop product/service positioning, provide market and competitive analysis
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Must be congenial, comfortable in public speaking situations, and persuasive
  • Ability to stand and reach with hands and arms under 1/3 of the time
  • Ability to walk up to 2/3 of the time
  • Ability to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk or hear over 2/3 of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs under 1/3 of the time
  • Close vision for proofreading, working on a computer screen and fulfillment of printed materials
