Academic Achievement Scholarship - Undergraduate Day Program
Candidate must be a current full-time, returning student with a 3.5 GPA or higher and good social standing. The award cannot exceed $5,000 per academic year. Half will be disbursed in October and the second half in February. Students already receiving institutional scholarships cannot be receiving more than $10,000 to apply. Interested students must complete the scholarship application. Submit a current resume and an essay that includes:
- An opening paragraph stating your program of study, academic standing, GPA or any honors and your anticipated graduation year.
- A paragraph summarizing your financial need (include any other financial aid you are currently receiving).
- A paragraph clarifying how the financial difficulties impact other areas of your life.
- A closing paragraph explaining how completion of your specific degree will enhance your work life/career.
Submit all materials to Evelyn Nelson, Executive Director of Student Administrative Services.
