You are considered a transfer student if you've attended another college or university after graduating from high school, and have obtained a minimum of 12 transferable credits.
If you have less than 12 transferable college credits, you should apply as a first-year student.
How to apply
To receive admission to Lynn University, you must send all required documents listed below to the Office of Admission. Send your application requirements and supporting documents before the priority deadline for your best chance of gaining admission to Lynn University.
- $45 nonrefundable application fee
- Official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended
- Dean of Students recommendation form
Institute for Achievement and Learning
Applicants to the Institute for Achievement and Learning should submit a current (within three years) psycho-educational evaluation.
Transfer credits and GPA
For admission and scholarship purposes, Lynn University calculates a transfer GPA based on all courses taken at previous institutions. This transfer GPA will not appear on your Lynn transcript. Once enrolled, only grades received at Lynn are used to calculate a GPA.
