Take advantage of our newly constructed 750-seat Wold Performing Arts Center and our state-of-the-art television studio, both of which feature the latest in audio, video and computing technology.
From stage performance to behind-the-scenes, your education will span multiple media. You’ll work closely with your peers and professors, learning hands-on with professional-quality equipment in each class you take.
You’ll study studio theater, audio performance, writing, directing and producing. By working in each of these fields, you’ll find your strengths and hone your weaknesses—and you’ll leave Lynn with the experience and the direction you’ll need to build a successful career in the entertainment industry.
The curriculum at Lynn gets a lot of attention for being innovative and future-focused. Instead of only taking prerequisite classes for your first year, you can start studying the subjects that interest you right away.
And as a drama major, you’ll gain experience in areas including Theatrical Design and Production, Writing for Performance and Directing the Actor.
Your new degree will give you access to impressive career opportunities—many more than we could ever hope to list. Still, we’ve created this short sampling of careers you might pursue starting with this degree:
- Set designer
- Film production assistant
- Screen / script writer
- Technical production specialist
We’re happy to help you set and reach your career goals. At Lynn, all students enjoy free career planning services.
