The Educational Studies program is designed to prepare students to work in the field of education or a related field. Students will complete educational coursework giving them an understanding of school systems, learning theories, and pedagogy. This program is not state approved and does not include practicum or student teaching. Students are required to complete university core curriculum requirements of 50 credits in the major in elementary education excluding practicum and student teaching.

* The 300 and 400 level Dialogues course requirements may be embedded within the major. Courses with an asterisk meet both major requirements and the university core requirements.
