Student Activities

The College of Education encourages its students to join one or more of its student organizations, providing the opportunity for personal growth and career development.

Kappa Delta Pi

The college sponsors the Chi Ro chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Education Honor Society. Qualified students are encouraged and welcomed to join, and have an opportunity to organize community events and participate in fundraising activities as well as professional growth opportunities.

Best Buddies

The college encourages its students to participate in Best Buddies International, a program designed to enrich the social life of people with intellectual disabilities by pairing them with college students.

Adults Supporting Kids (A.S.K.)

Students also have the opportunity to join the Adults Supporting Kids program, where they can help underprivileged children. In this program, students can tutor a child, become a friend or help families find needed resources from the community.

Financial Aid

Students pursuing a degree in education at the undergraduate or graduate level may be eligible for various scholarship and loan forgiveness programs. The Ross College of Education and the Office of Student Administrative Services will work with students in providing information and resources to assist in obtaining these education-related scholarships, including the TEACH grant, the education discount, and the Ross College of Education Future Leaders Scholarship.
