Conservatory of Music
Dean Jon Robertson
The Conservatory of Music provides its students a first-rate professional performance education with thorough attention to musicianship, artistry and skills necessary to be a successful musician in today's competitive field of music.
A highly select group of gifted students is admitted annually to pursue rigorous solo, chamber music and orchestral training, as well as a carefully drafted academic program leading to the Bachelor of Music, Master of Music and Professional Performance Certificate. Artistic talent and ability are the primary criteria for admission.

In addition, the conservatory offers:
- B.A. in Music is designed for the undergraduate music student interested in a liberal arts education with a broad range of topics.
- Music minor is designed to complement any degree program to allow a student with an interest in music and/or a previous background in music performance to enhance his or her appreciation and understanding by taking courses in the fundamentals of music history and music theory.
