From kitchen management to the customer’s dining experience, this certificate program will educate you on the essentials of managing restaurants.

You’ll learn how to manage employees, food and beverage costs, sanitation and more. After taking just five courses, you’ll receive your certificate—and you’ll be even more qualified to excel within the food and beverage industry.

To become a certificate student at Lynn, you’ll need to apply for and be accepted to the evening undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program. Once accepted, you’ll take only the courses required for the certificate you’re pursuing; you will not have to follow the course schedule noted for the bachelor’s degree program. And if you ever decide to take your education to the next level, the courses you take in this certificate program will count toward a bachelor’s degree.

Curriculum

You’ll study all of the foundations of restaurant management as a certificate student at Lynn. Courses will include topics in Food and Beverage Management, Hospitality Sanitation and Customer Service.
