Business Careers

Whatever specialization the business administration student chooses, the college strives to provide a curriculum to prepare the student for a managerial or entrepreneurial role upon graduation. Students who specialize in an area of business administration have the opportunity to pursue careers in a wide variety of areas, including the financial sector, marketing and sales, purchasing and administration, retail management and merchandising, product management and distribution, and much more.

Internship Opportunities

The College of Business and Management incorporates practical learning experiences through its internship programs. Students have numerous opportunities for internships in a wide variety of local businesses and organizations. The college’s objective is to place students in positions most aligned to their career interests, and past internship placements have included positions in the White House, Neiman Marcus, the Boca Raton Resort and Club, Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, Bloomingdale’s and Northwestern Mutual.

Alumni in the Field

Graduates in the college have found successful careers in every size and type of business, as well as in every type of position. Currently the college has alumni working in such diverse industries as aeronautics, fashion, marketing, finance and banking, and manufacturing. Many business administration graduates start their own businesses immediately upon graduation, and Lynn’s more experienced business graduates occupy executive positions in major organizations.
