Student organizations and activities
Students in the college have numerous opportunities to participate in a wide variety of clubs, organizations and activities on campus. From honors societies for such areas of study as psychology and criminal justice to a pre-health society, a poetry club and an international affairs society, students in the college are able to experience a wide variety of extracurricular activities. In these organizations students have the opportunity to participate in such activities as community service projects, tours of criminal justice facilities, writing and performing poetry, and hosting mock United Nations conferences on campus.
There are a number of scholarships and financial aid opportunities for students who wish to major in one of the many areas of study within the College of Arts and Sciences. Scholarships for students may include funding for tuition, books, room and board, and even study abroad experiences. The College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of Student Financial Services will work with the students in providing information and resources to assist in obtaining available scholarships and aid.
