Lynn student-athletes boast academic excellence

Lynn’s Fighting Knights placed 106 (or 61%) of Lynn’s 173 student-athletes on the Lynn Student-Athlete Honor Roll this fall. To be eligible students must earn a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) or better. In addition, 19 of these individuals earned a perfect 4.00 GPA. This marks the ninth consecutive semester that LU has bestowed the honor on more than 100 recipients.
“Lynn University strives for academic excellence,” Fighting Knights Director of Athletics Kristen Moraz said, “and these student-athletes have proven their ability to balance school and the rigors of intercollegiate athletics.”
This is not the first time Lynn student athletes have been recognized for their academic achievements. In fact, 54 of Lynn's student-athletes made the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2008 semester, as announced by Commissioner Michael J. Marcil. The SSC named a total of 476 student-athletes from the nine member institutions.
