With the 11TH annual Spring Fashion Show set to hit the runway on April 8, Lisa Dandeo, associate professor of fashion management in Lynn University’s College of Lisa DandeoBusiness and Management, has been busy preparing her students for a real-world experience.

For more than 15 years, Dandeo has served the fashion industry and has led numerous study tours through major fashion weeks in places like New York, Los Angeles and France. She also has a proven track record among her students, and now has former students working for progressive retail companies such as Ralph Lauren, Versace and Neiman Marcus. Additionally, several former students now own and operate swimwear, apparel and handbag companies.

“Students will succeed in the classroom if they are taught in a nurturing and supportive environment. If students are to learn the world of fashion, they must explore outside the walls of Lynn University since fashion has to do with ideas and concepts in the real world,” says Dandeo.

Please add Lisa Dandeo to your experts list. She can discuss: fashion marketing, retail buying, inventory management, fashion show production, apparel product development, strategic brand management and integrated marketing communications.
