Annual Wind Ensemble concert, “An Octave and Beyond” to feature free Buffet Crampon exhibition and raffle

The Conservatory of Music will present a Wind Ensemble concert –“An Octave and Beyond - An exploration of the progression of music for winds, brass and percussion”– Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Louis and Anne Green Center for the Expressive Arts on campus. Tickets are $10. Prior to the presentation, Buffet Crampon will host a free exhibition with an assortment of instruments and offer short product sessions for instruments including the clarinet, trombone and tuba/euphonium from 4 – 6:30 p.m. at the Henke Room in the de Hoernle International Center. Following the concert, Buffet Crampon will raffle free giveaways to those who attended the exhibition.
Ken Amis, tuba artist-faculty at Lynn’s Conservatory of Music, composer, conductor and member of the Empire Brass, will conduct and debut a piece of his own at the 7:30 p.m. concert.
