Advertising 3.0 symposium on campus next week

Panelists to feature representatives from top advertising agencies including Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Zimmerman Advertising, bfw Advertising & Interactive, and Microsoft

Lynn professors, Myles Ludwig and Erika Grodzki, in the College of International Communication in cooperation with the Advertising Educational Foundation, Inc. are hosting an “Advertising 3.0, New Media, New Consumer” symposium on campus Thursday, Jan. 15, from 9:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. in the Louis and Anne Green Center for the Expressive Arts.

Panelists include representatives from top advertising agencies including Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Zimmerman Advertising, bfw Advertising & Interactive, and Microsoft Corporation, among others. The 12:30 p.m. luncheon featuring keynote speaker, Mark Turner, is invitation only. Turner is a distinguished professor of cognitive science and is the co-founder of the theory of conceptual blending. Turner is the co-author of “How We Think: Conceptual Blending and the Mind’s Hidden Complexities” and the editor of both “The Artful Mind: Cognitive Science and the Riddle of Human Creativity” and “Sublime Persuasion: Mind Blends and the Market.”
