Jerome Kern is one of the most significant composers in the history of American theatre.  He inspired future generations of American composers including George Gershwin and Richard Rodgers, especially with his revolutionary musical, Showboat, and his output of more than 1,000 songs, including “All The Things You Are” and “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes.”
