With this program, pianist Roberta Rust celebrates 20 years of service as artist and educator at the conservatory. The recital features the Mozart Fantasy in C minor, K. 475, Beethoven Sonata op. 110, and Chopin Etude op. 10 No. 12 “Revolutionary,” Nocturne op. 9 No. 2, and Scherzo No. 2. Rust will also mark the John Cage centenary (1912-2012) at this concert, with performances of his 4’33’’, A Room, Quest, and In a Landscape.
