Fun Filled Science: Dynamic Approaches to Improving Student Learning in Scientific LiteracyAt Lynn University, we strive to incorporate new and dynamic methodologies to educate our students in science. Professor Kahlique Ahmed will be introducing participants to the world of science at Lynn University and how faculty engage students in hands-on science activities.

The Citizenship Project: Commitment to CommunityVice President for Academic Affairs Gregg Cox will present The Citizenship Project Lynn's newly developed academic initiative that creates a common experience and will engage students in the knowledge and skills to help prepare them to be active and responsible citizens in today’s global society. Representative faculty will present their courses, and some of these include: From Bad to Beautiful: Turning Bullies into Good Citizens; Organizing a Food Campaign via Social Media; and The Ocean as Environmental Crime Scene.

Financial Aid: What You Need to KnowFinancial Aid/Student Accounts Process Updates
Gain insights into the all-important financial aid process and how to apply or re-apply for next year. What should you do if your financial circumstances change throughout the year? What are the GPA requirements in order to continue to receive financial aid? How to put money onto the LynnOne Card? How does a student apply for an on campus job? How to search for additional scholarships? How and when should you make payments for future semesters? You’ll learn this and more in this session, followed by questions and answers. You’ll also have the opportunity to make an appointment to discuss your individual situation with a financial aid counselor.

Blue & White Club AuctionJoin us as we celebrate our Fighting Knight student-athletes at the 13th Annual Blue & White Auction, presented by Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriot, featuring silent and live auctions, a variety of appetizers, drinks and raffles. Students are welcome to attend, but must abide by the university alcohol policy. (Cost of this event, $40, is not included in the fee for general weekend activities.)
