I individually encourage and continuously push all of my students to reach and, in doing so, hopefully exceed their own expectations and potential in each of my courses – at their own pace – which is why so many students of mine come back to take more of my courses. My ultimate objective is for each and every one of my students to learn as much as possible not only in the classroom, not only from the textbook, and not only from me, but at all times. I try to use everyday, real-world examples – usually from my personal life, family, and career – to illustrate the actual application and importance of key concepts. Finally, I am always looking for new solutions – usually technological – to problems, as well as new challenges, because I firmly believe that these will serve to maintain and enhance my students' attention, interest, and ultimate understanding of the subject matter being presented. At the end of the day, anyone can pass a class, but sometimes it takes a special effort to want to do so.
