Adam Kosnitzky, Ph.D., is a visiting professor at the Ross College of Education at Lynn University. Coming to Lynn University in 2002, he served various roles at the university which range from coordinator of operations for off-campus programs to his current position. He has served as an elementary school administrator for the past three years and holds separate graduate degrees in Leadership, Special Education and Mathematics Education. Additionally, he holds certifications in Educational Leadership, Emotionally Handicapped, Guidance and Counseling, Mathematics and Mentally Handicapped. Using his 15 years of instructional experience in the K-12 setting, Kosnitzky serves a clinical educator where he provides training for aspiring school counselors. While authoring more than $25,000 in grants at the school site level, he worked closely with the use of wireless technology to monitor instruction, as well as a mobile blog where user can attain school-wide information via one’s cell phone. He has presented, or was selected to present, at various district, national, state, and regional conferences in the areas of special education counseling and technology in leadership among other educational areas.

My teaching philosophy incorporates the engagement of the holistic learner through a varied style approach. As an instructional leader, it is my responsibility to provide exposure that meets the needs of all visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners. Each student has unique qualities and skills, and I must ensure that emphasis is placed on everyone’s strengths, which will lead to further development in this ever-changing society.
