School of Aeronautics
The School of Aeronautics is FAA approved under the requirements of Part 141. This means that the programs have met the highest standards set forth by the FAA on course curricula, instructors and training facilities.
The school’s programs provide a wide range of educational opportunities for entry-level four-year students to advance into a career in the industry. The school continues to establish bridge programs necessary for the four-year graduate to obtain the experience and type ratings that are a prerequisite to placement within the industry. Programs for aircrew training, ground personnel and air traffic control are offered.
The school’s 2,700-square-foot facility, located at the Boca Raton Airport, houses a state-of-the-art Frasca flight training device and is home to the university’s fleet of Cessna 172s and DA-42 TwinStar aircraft. The facility also houses a first-class flight academy for individuals interested in becoming a pilot.
